The Westerly Winds Big Band comprises 18 musicians, mostly from Marquette County, Michigan. The Band specializes in jazz from the Swing Era of the 1930s and 1940s, but also plays more recent big band charts. The band mostly plays at dances and concerts in the central Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
